I can’t believe November is coming to an end and the holiday season has already begun. Fall slipped through my fingers, and today I’m taking a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate what this month has brought.

As Clutter Cutter continues to grow, I am thrilled for the incredible team taking shape around me. Building a team is not just about systems and training. It is about trust. And this month, that trust meant inviting my team into my own home, working alongside me and even with my daughter.

It was humbling in the best possible way. Opening your home, your private spaces, your routines, and your quirks requires real vulnerability. Standing in my clients’ shoes reminded me of the mix of relief, hope, and nervousness that comes with letting someone in. It gave me a renewed appreciation for the courage it takes to begin this work.

To each of you who has welcomed me, and now us, into your homes: thank you. I see you, I respect you, and I am honored to be part of your journey toward clarity, calm, and ease.

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that most of us underestimate how long tasks take?
Psychologists call this the Planning Fallacy. I felt it deeply this fall while juggling work, family, and team training. Noticing where my time actually goes has helped me breathe, simplify, and reset my priorities.

QUICK TIPS -

Want to simplify your days? Start by noticing them.

  • Track your time for just one day. No pressure, no perfection.

  • Look for patterns: Where do you lose momentum? What energizes you?

  • Subtract one thing that’s adding stress, clutter, or noise.

Small shifts can create big clarity.

MUST HAVES

This fall has been nonstop between clients, team training, college application, family life, and DMM work, I found myself juggling more than ever. What is helping me stay honest about how I actually spend my time is 🔗Toggl Track.

I keep it open on my computer (where most of my work happens), and just clicking “start” gives me a clearer picture of my day. It’s not about perfection or squeezing in more; it’s about awareness. Seeing my time laid out makes it easier to simplify, subtract, and focus on what truly matters. It’s been a quiet game-changer for me.

WHAT’S HOT

Lately, I have been reminding myself that small is enough. With the pace of this season, a full organizing session is not always realistic, but a micro reset is. Five minutes, one surface, one drawer, one small moment of clarity.

It is a simple practice that helps maintain calm when life feels full.

SPOTLIGHT

I’m excited to introduce 🔗Sarah and 🔗Victoria, our two new team members who have already made a remarkable impact. Clients who’ve worked with them have told me, “It felt like working with you,” which is the greatest compliment I could receive.

They truly embody Clutter Cutter’s core values of adaptability, kindness, trust, passion and respect, and I’m thrilled to share that starting in January, they’ll be available to work independently as Lead Organizers. So even if I’m focused on Daily Money Management, you’ll always be in excellent hands.

You can learn more about each of them 🔗here.

MUST READ

🔗ADD-Friendly Ways to Organize Your Life by Judith Kolberg and Kathleen Nadeau, PhD

This book is both practical and incredibly kind. Although it is written for people with ADHD, the strategies are universal, simple, and judgment free. Whether you read or listen, it offers smart, compassionate tips that help reduce overwhelm and create systems that truly stick. A great resource for anyone seeking more clarity and ease.
